Well our garden is underway! Mitchell tilled a plot in the backyard and built a couple raised beds. We started some of our seeds a few weeks ago. The girls have had a lot of fun checking for what has started sprouting and what is growing best. We have already had to restart a couple things.. learning as we go.

If you have checked out the store lately and tried to make an order, we know the site was down and not accepting orders. We finally got that fixed and taken care of. The store is back up and running, ready to fulfill orders. We apologize if you weren't able to order before. If for some reason that ever happens again, you can always still order by messaging us here or on Facebook.

We have been keeping a little secret! Out of pure curiosity to see who actually reads our posts we decoded we would "announce" it here. So if you do read these, you get to be among some of the first people to know... we're expecting again!! Alysha is about 10 weeks pregnant. It has already been a bit of a rough time for her but we are hoping it starts to ease up for her soon. She plans to give updates throughout the next 7ish months, so stay tuned and follow along on this journey.

For the last few months we have been going through the process of buying some land way out in the country. We were given the opportunity to split some land and buy with Mitchell's sister, Kaileyn and her husband TJ. We split 40 acres, so 20 for each of us. We have closed on this property and now get to decide what we want to do with this piece of land. The part that we own also came with a house. The house is in rough shape and needs some major TLC but we plan to restore it and get it in livable condition again. We plan on planting a mini fruit tree orchard, berry patches and even have plans to put some beehives on the property. Eventually at some point we may have some cattle we raise for butcher out there but that will be a little bit down the road.

Well, with today being Superbowl Sunday, we have to ask.. who are you rooting for in the game? We aren't big NFL fans. Mitchell really only follows players from college football as they play professionally. We plan to watch the game but purely just for fun because we have no skin in the game.
